Functional Description
The solar controller protects the battery from too deep discharge by shutting down the power source after critical voltage for the battery exceeds 11V. If the battery is fully charged, the controller shuts down
PV power when the battery voltage reaches 14V-14.5V.
Applications and functions
SOL-ED series PWM charge regulators have been developed to work in simple solar systems in the following configuration

Their purpose is to control the multistage charging process of the battery and protection against overcharging or deep discharging, and to inform the user of current operating parameters. The automatic voltage detection system allows it to work with both. The automatic voltage detection system allows operation with both 12 volt and 24 volt batteries, while the manual selector allows identification of the type of battery used: gel or AGM.
