This unusual model is a classic miniature carousel made of high-quality materials, a traditional and beloved fair attraction in the recognizable detailed design of Ugears. There are two types of horses located in pairs, parallel to each other. As in a real carousel, when horses rotate, they move up and down. In the center of the structure is a pole rotating in a direction opposite to the movement of the main platform. Because of this, it seems that horses will jump faster, and in general a beautiful dynamics of all elements of the model is created. The pillar rises above the roof of the Carousel, making it visually more elegant and at the same time creating a volume. Small birds fall over the roof up and down, and decorative air flashlights swing. Each element in  traditional place, an integral part of yoke fuss and fun, like baby laughter and the smell of sugar wool.

Like most Ugears designers, the Carousel has everything you need to assemble and does not need additional tools or glues. The model drives a rubber motor, and the factory handle is located on the bottom of the main platform. Rotation of the plant handle increases the tension of the rubbers connected to the main shaft. The movement of the shaft slows down and aligns thanks to the pendulum. The shaft is connected to the central pillar through a planetary gear, which provides rotation in the direction opposite to the main platform. On the central shaft there is also a roof with axes for crankshafts transmitting reciprocating motion to horses hopping in a circle.

It is very interesting to observe the model in work, but if you treat those people who prefer to study not only with their eyes, but also with their hands, then without harm to the mechanism, you can rotate the Carousel manually, taking it, for example, by the roof. So you can take a closer look at all the elements of the mechanism and better understand how it works.
