European standard type 2 connector
High charging power, 7-pin type 2 connector compliant with current regulations, four options (8A, 10A, 13A, 16A) for optimal charging
The charger has a Type 2 connector, which is currently the official European Union standard and charges electric cars equipped with the appropriate charging socket. The Type 2 connector has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 are for charging and 2 are for communication between the station and the car.
Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe.
The Qoltec charger supports four current modes: 8A, 10A, 13A and 16A. It is worth noting that the Type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with a charging power greater than 3kW.

• set the current intensity using the current intensity adjustment button: 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A;

If you want to mount your EV charger on the wall, choose a suitable location, preferably close to your car and a power source. You will also need to install a residual current device – a type B RCD is the best choice as a means of full supplementary protection. Ensure that the location is protected from moisture, free from mechanical damage and not exposed to direct sunlight. Be sure to check that this is the case. A 5-metre charging cable with an ergonomic plug ensures a high level of convenience.
