Filament PETG 1.75mm Tumeroheline (Bottle Green) 1kg
PETG (also called PET copolyester) is a modified version of PET. The modification consists in the addition of a second glycol tail during polymerization. An irregular molecular structure is obtained, the plastic is clean and amorphous, the glass transition temperature is about 88 ° C.
The main advantages of PETG over PET are:
It's more durable. If the conventional PET is strongly heated, it becomes cloudy and brittle. What does not happen to PETG: additional glycol prevents crystallization and brittleness. The new material also has impressive impact-resistant properties.
Unlike PET, it is impervious to ultraviolet light.
They can be professionally printed, they can be sterilized.
