The solar PWM controller is a converter used to control the operation of photovoltaic systems . The job of the solar regulator is to ensure that the batteries have the proper charging current characteristics to prevent them from discharging or overcharging too deeply. Solar regulators guarantee a longer battery life in the SOLAR PANEL / Battery system.
The controller is equipped with a photocell function (the ability to turn the output on in relation to sunsets and sunrises).
The solar regulator protects the battery from deep discharge by disconnecting the source of power consumption after the battery voltage exceeds the critical 10.8V . When the battery is fully charged, the controller disconnects power from the photovoltaic panels when the battery voltage is in the 14V-14.5V range.
