MAX14870 arduino motor driver 1.7A 4.5-36V

This small shield is a simple and economical way to control two small fixed DC motors with an Arduino or Arduino compatible board. Its two integrated MAX14870 motor drivers let it operate from 4.5 V to 36 V, making it great for higher-voltage motors and devices, and the shield can operate at a continuous 1.7 A per motor (peak is 2.5 A). The shield can be optionally configured to power the Arduino from the same power supply as the motor driver, and the Arduino mapping can be customized (by following the lines) if the default settings are not suitable.
