The set of two MC4 extension cables, each 2m long, is designed for photovoltaic applications. The single-core cables are made of multi-stranded tinned copper and offer high flexibility, and are based on halogen-free cross-linked plastic. They comply with PN-EN 50618 and PN-EN 60228 standards, providing resistance to fire, UV ultraviolet radiation, ozone and varying weather conditions.
Durability for years
Thanks to a coating resistant to UV radiation and the influence of the external environment, the cables can be laid not only indoors and outdoors, but also directly in the ground. They are resistant to hydrolysis, ammonia, acids and alkalis, which translates into a long service life of up to 25 years. The cables remain fully functional over a wide temperature range - from -40°C to +90°C during operation with the possibility of 120°C for up to 20,000 hours.
Thoughtful design
The set based on cable type H1Z2Z2-K provides an operating voltage of 1.5 kV (1.8 kV) DC in accordance with EN 50618 and a rated voltage of 1.0/1.0 kV AC. The cables have a conductor cross-section of 6 mm² and an outer diameter of 6.2 mm. Their conductor resistance at 20°C is a maximum of 5.09 mΩ/m, and insulation is a minimum of 580 MΩ/km. MC4 connectors allow quick and safe connection to the photovoltaic installation.
