The Sonoff Basic is an affordable WiFi smart switch that allows users to intelligently control their homes. It is a remote-controlled power switch that can be connected to a wide range of devices. The Sonoff Basic power switch transmits data to a cloud-based platform via a WiFi connection, which allows users to remotely control all connected devices via the eWeLink mobile app.
Support
Users can remotely operate a connected device via the free eWeLink app available on iOS and Android platforms. Voice control and collaboration with smart assistants is also possible, thanks to compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Google Assistant, Google Home, Google Nest, IFTTT. With network connectivity, device status synchronization happens instantly, so the app always displays up-to-date data.
Smart control
Users can set smart time schedules to automatically turn on/off devices at a specific time. The device can operate independently even when the WiFi network is unavailable, just use the LAN support function. For the device to be controlled by other household members, users can simply share devices with other accounts and assign specific permissions. It is also possible to create scenes or smart scenes to turn the switch on/off.
