This device is based on a ACS712ELC-chip, which includes a Hall sensor with high accuracy. The current sensor can be connected to Raspberry Pi or Arduino boards, as well as to any boards on AVR microcontrollers, thanks to an integrated resistive divider.

The Hall sensor is located directly on the chip itself. For the flow of electric current required for the correct operation of the 20 A current sensor, a copper conductor is placed next to the Hall sensor.

When current flows through the conductor, a magnetic field occurs. Fixing it, Hall's sensor converts it to a voltage that is commensurate with the input current value.

The 20 A current sensor is compact on a 31x13 mm PCB. He has PLS contacts so that he can connect to the PBS connector.
