The TP-Link TL-MR100-Outdoor is a 4G outdoor router for sharing mobile internet at a holiday home, in a yard or at a temporary workplace. Insert an activated nano-SIM and configure the connection through the web interface or Tether app. It supports 4G and 3G networks and shares the connection over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
The Wi-Fi connection rate is up to 300Mbps, but this is not the internet speed. The manufacturer states 4G download speeds up to 150Mbps and upload speeds up to 50Mbps. The WAN/LAN port supports up to 100Mbps. Actual speed depends on mobile reception, the operator's network, data plan and connected devices.
An IP65 enclosure and two detachable LTE antennas support outdoor installation. The router can be powered over PoE; a PoE adapter, 10m Ethernet cable and window, pole and wall mounting kits are included. It also supports 12V DC power, but a separate DC adapter is not included. Keep the PoE adapter indoors and weatherproof the router connections according to the installation guide.
