AJAX Wireless outdoor curtain motion detector

Curtain Outdoor Jeweller is a wireless dual-technology motion detector designed to provide precise perimeter protection for both outdoor and indoor environments. The device utilizes a specialized optical system to monitor narrow sectors at a distance of up to 12 meters. To ensure a near-zero chance of false alarms, the detector combines two PIR sensors and a K-band microwave sensor, which together filter out thermal interferences such as direct sunlight or sudden temperature shifts.

The detector features adjustable detection range and sensitivity levels to fit specific site requirements. In pet immunity mode, the system ignores animals up to 100 cm tall, preventing nuisance alarms. The SmartDetect software algorithm accurately distinguishes human movement from environmental factors, while temperature compensation maintains detection contrast across the entire operating temperature range.

Reliable communication is maintained through Jeweller and Wings radio protocols, offering encrypted two-way transmission at a range of up to 1,700 meters from an Ajax hub. The device is built with IP55 enclosure protection and includes a specialized Hood to protect the anti-masking sensors from rain and snow. Security is further enhanced by an integrated accelerometer to detect tampering or movement of the device and a tamper button that alerts users if the enclosure is opened.
