Arduino Alvik is a versatile educational robot designed for learning programming and robotics across various skill levels. Powered by the Arduino Nano ESP32, it supports block-based coding, MicroPython, and the Arduino language. The curriculum and lessons are aligned with CSTA and NGSS standards for educational environments.
The robot features a comprehensive suite of integrated sensors, including a Time of Flight (ToF) distance sensor with a range up to 350 cm, an RGB color sensor, a 6-axis gyroscope and accelerometer, and a line-following array. These capabilities allow for projects involving obstacle avoidance, color recognition, and autonomous navigation.
For customization and expansion, Alvik includes LEGO Technic connectors, M3 screw mounts, and specialized ports for I2C Grove, I2C Qwiic, and servo motors. Its compact design is powered by a rechargeable and replaceable 18650 Li-Ion battery via a USB-C port, ensuring long-term usability in classrooms, makerspaces, or home environments.
