The Goobay SLIM network cable is specifically designed for space-constrained environments and high-density electronic setups, such as server cabinets and data centers. This cable provides efficient, high-quality network solutions that promote improved airflow and cooling performance.
The pre-assembled, unshielded LAN cable features 2x RJ45 connectors and an extremely thin 3.6 mm cable diameter. Its small bending radius and high flexibility allow for space-saving routing in complex environments. The short RJ45 plug (11.6 x 26.7 mm) is equipped with latch protection on both ends to ensure a secure connection. A high-quality copper conductor (CU) and gold-plated contact surfaces guarantee an excellent, high-performance network connection. The kink protection sleeve and stable PVC jacket protect the cable from breakage. This network cable is also suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications.
The cable supports CAT 6 @ 250 MHz bandwidth. It can achieve speeds up to 10 Gbit/s for lengths up to 55 m and 1 Gbit/s up to 100 m. It also supports NBASE-T up to 5 Gbit/s when used with compatible modern switches or network cards supporting the IEEE 802.3bz standard.
