Creality K1 Series CFS Upgrade Accessory Kit

This accessory kit provides the Creality CFS (Color Filament System) upgrade for compatible K1 series 3D printers, enabling advanced multi-color printing capabilities. The complete set includes the CFS filament management unit and a dedicated new extruder.

CFS System Capabilities

- The CFS unit supports 4 filament inputs and is designed for expansion, allowing up to four units to be connected for printing with a maximum of 16 colors.

- Features automatic filament loading and unloading.

- Includes a built-in filament cutter and a filament run-out sensor for reliable material changes.

- Supports RFID filament recognition for automated material identification.

Compatibility

- Designed for use with Creality K1, K1 Max, K1C, and K1 SE models.

- Requires the printer to be equipped with the integrated nozzle (Unicorn hotend).

Please note that this upgrade kit is not compatible with older versions of the hotend. If the user wishes to install the CFS Upgrade on an older K1 unit, both the hotend and the cooling plate must be upgraded to the Unicorn version.

Compatibility details

All K1-series machines shipped after 2024 come with a pre-installed Unicorn hotend and are fully compatible with the CFS upgrade.

Machines shipped before 2024 require an upgrade to the Unicorn hotend in order to use this kit.

How to check your machine’s production date:

You can determine when your machine was shipped by checking the serial number (SN). Please refer to the last image.
