EZVIZ HP8 is a battery-powered video doorbell kit offering 5 MP resolution and True WDR technology with distortion correction. The camera supports color night vision up to 1m and human motion detection with a 120° PIR sensor, featuring an adjustable detection distance up to 7m. Built-in two-way audio includes a voice changer to protect conversation privacy.
The doorbell is powered by a detachable 9600 mAh lithium battery, which requires a separately purchased 5V / 2A power adapter for charging. The kit includes an indoor chime with 20 ringtones that plugs directly into the mains (AC 110–240 V). The device connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks and uses H.265 video compression to save data storage and bandwidth. For video recording, it supports a microSD card up to 512 GB (not included) or EZVIZ CloudPlay cloud storage.
The weatherproof doorbell allows setting up to 4 privacy zones. The device supports live viewing on Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa-enabled devices, though incoming video calls and chime alerts are not sent to these devices.
