Spectrum PP is a low-density (0.9 g/cm³) polypropylene filament that combines lightness, flexibility, and good chemical and mechanical resistance. The material features a hardness of Shore D 50 and an elongation at break of up to 600%, offering resistance to wear, abrasion, and fatigue. Thanks to its water resistance and resistance to detergents, it is suitable for manufacturing watertight parts, hinges, and containers. Printed items are food contact compliant and can be safely washed in a dishwasher and used in a microwave.
The recommended printing parameters are a nozzle temperature of 245–280 °C and a heated bed temperature of 80–100 °C. An enclosed chamber is recommended for larger prints, and bed adhesives (such as Magigoo PP) are recommended for better first-layer adhesion and to prevent warping. The filament is AMS-compatible, has a temperature resistance of 103 °C, and is fully recyclable.
