The advanced optical sensor is expertly designed to detect slow-burning fires, which are the most common household fire hazard, while keeping nuisance alarms caused by cooking to an absolute minimum.

We have focused on providing complete peace of mind both day and night. When it is time to rest, Night Mode automatically dims the indicator light to ensure undisturbed sleep. When the low-battery warning eventually occurs, our unique Sleep Easy function allows you to silence it for up to 10 hours, giving you important time to replace the device without losing sleep.

The smoke alarm is standalone and features a lithium battery that lasts for 10 years, meaning you do not need to replace the battery during the recommended lifetime of the smoke alarm.

The test/silence button allows you to easily check the alarm function or temporarily silence a non-emergency alarm. When activated, the alarm produces a loud 85 dBA sound.

Its ultra-slim design and easily accessible front cover make installation and maintenance simple. The device is certified according to EN 14604:2005+AC:2008 and is suitable for use in a wide range of domestic environments, including hallways, stairways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms.

High Performance optical sensor meets the highest level of fire safety standards in terms of its technology. The sensor can distinguish cooking vapours from an actual fire, thereby reducing the number of false alarms.

10-year built-in battery – No more need to worry about replacing batteries. The sensor has a lifespan of up to 10 years.

Silence function – Pressing the test button on the smoke alarm during an alarm silences the device for ten minutes. If it turns out to have been a false alarm and there is no actual fire, the smoke alarm automatically returns to normal mode after 10 minutes. If there is still smoke in the room, the alarm will sound again, but if the smoke has cleared, the device will remain in monitoring mode. Use this function only when you are certain that there is no actual danger.

Easy to install – The base plate of FireAngel alarms is designed to make it easy to attach the alarm to the base. Screws and wall plugs for securing the base plate are included.

The alarm is equipped with the Sleep Easy function. If the battery runs out after 10 years, this can often happen at night, and the alarm will emit a sound every 40 seconds to indicate that it is time to replace the device. Pressing the test button at this time silences the low-battery warning for eight hours, allowing you to continue sleeping peacefully while the alarm continues to protect you.

Warnings
1) Do not use objects to silence the alarm. Protect the device from falling from a height. Do not remove the battery during an alarm. Check the smoke alarm regularly, at least once a month, by pressing the test button!
2) Do not install in damp or humid areas.
3) Install out of the reach of children.
4) Do not install in areas exposed to high voltage or strong magnetic fields.
5) The smoke alarm must not be disassembled using unauthorised tools, as this may damage the sensor and automatically void the device warranty.
6) The device must be installed by a competent person. Installers must ensure that the user manual remains with the end user.
