The alarm is equipped with the Sleep Easy function. If the batteries run low, this can often happen at night, and the alarm will emit a sound every 40 seconds to indicate that the batteries need to be replaced. Pressing the test button at this time silences the low-battery warning for eight hours, allowing you to continue sleeping peacefully while the alarm continues to protect you. Includes 2 x AA alkaline batteries, which are easy to replace.

1) Do not use objects to silence the alarm and do not allow the alarm to fall from a height. Do not remove the batteries during an alarm. Check the carbon monoxide alarm regularly, at least once a month, by pressing the test button!
2) This carbon monoxide alarm does not replace a smoke alarm.
3) Do not install in damp or humid areas.
4) Install out of the reach of children.
5) Do not install in areas exposed to high voltage or strong magnetic fields.
6) Do not disassemble the carbon monoxide alarm without authorisation, as this may damage the alarm and will automatically void the device warranty.
7) This device is designed to protect people against carbon monoxide poisoning. It does not fully protect people for whom carbon monoxide poses a particular health risk. If in doubt, consult a doctor.
8) The device must be installed by a competent person. Installers must ensure that the user manual remains with the end user.
