The UGREEN aluminium alloy Ethernet splitter splits one network connection into two outputs, allowing two devices to connect simultaneously. The splitter supports data transfer speeds of up to 1000 Mbps on both ports and is backward compatible with 100 Mbps and 10 Mbps networks.
The device features three RJ45 ports with auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX, supporting full- and half-duplex modes. The sockets have full metal shielding and gold-plated contacts. Connection and power status are indicated by built-in LED indicators.
No drivers are needed to use the splitter, but it requires a separate 5 V power supply (the necessary USB cable is included in the package). The device is compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat7, and Cat8 network cables, and the maximum transmission distance is up to 100m. The actual achievable speed depends on the source network speed, router, and the cables used.
