Sound level calibrator for verifying sound level meters in extreme conditions, high altitudes, or when high precision is required. This device is also suitable for the calibration and verification of 1/2" microphones in audio technology by producing fixed sound pressure levels at a specific frequency.
The calibrator features two switchable calibration steps: 94 dB, which corresponds to a sound pressure of 1 Pascal, and 114 dB, which corresponds to 10 Pascal. These are generated as a 1 kHz sine wave signal, making all measurements suitable for appliances following the DIN IEC 60942 Class 2 standard.
