The magnet is enclosed in an angular (square) PVC cover. They can be sewn into clothing or used in humid environments without rusting. If you want to use the magnets in pairs, the “+” and “–” markings on the plastic sleeve help you find the matching pair. Thanks to the plastic coating, the magnets can be washed in a washing machine. To avoid damaging the machine or fabrics, clothes with magnets should be washed in a laundry bag and with a gentle wash program (without spinning). Do not wash the magnets at temperatures above 80°C, as this will cause demagnetization. Be careful when sewing, as many sewing machine parts (needle plate, presser foot, needle) are generally ferromagnetic, and the magnet may stick to them.
