"NASA Lunar Rover" 319-Part Plywood Constructor

NASA's Lunar Rover model is very similar in design to the real LRV. This spring-powered 1:15 scale wooden model includes rotating and swiveling wheels, an antenna, a front-facing camera, and a sophisticated mechanism that allows the rover to be folded up, just like the original, for transport aboard a rocket. When the wheel parts are unfolded, the axles lock quickly and the wheels with rubber tires automatically pop into place! A hidden key is used to wind up the ratchet mechanism, and the Start/Stop switch allows the rover to move up to 3 meters away.

The DIY NASA Lunar Rover is made of art-grade composite wood. Replaceable rubber bands actuate the dynamic transformer mechanism and ensure wheel traction. No glue or special tools are needed to build this cool out-of-this-world 3D puzzle - everything you need to assemble is included in the box.
