The Goobay PIR motion detector is designed for surface wall mounting in outdoor and indoor areas. It replaces conventional light switches to provide automatic, contactless switching for house entrances, carports, driveways, and gardens.
The sensor features a 180° detection angle with a maximum range of 12 m. For precise target alignment, the sensor mechanism can be rotated and tilted. Rotary dials on the underside allow continuous adjustment of ambient light sensitivity between 3 lx and 2000 lx and switch-off delay between 10 s and 15 min.
The switch supports LED and energy-saving lighting up to 600 W as well as incandescent and halogen lamps up to 1200 W. Protected against splashing water with an IP44 rating, it is optimized for installation at heights between 1.8 m and 2.5 m.
