PNI LED1000 CB Antenna with Adjustable Mount, 80 cm, 26–28 MHz

The antenna ensures excellent communication and maximizes visibility.

The antenna coil is equipped with diodes that emit light when radio frequency passes through. When the radio transmits, the coil automatically lights up, indicating proper device operation. The higher the transmission power, the brighter the LEDs shine.

The PNI LED 1000 CB antenna, with a length of 80 centimeters, allows transmission and reception in the CB band up to 10 km (under ideal conditions, without obstacles).

Factors affecting communication range:

» Antenna length: Longer antennas have a greater range than shorter ones.

» Mounting position: The higher the antenna is mounted, the better the range.

» Installation quality: Installation errors, such as lack of grounding, result in high SWR values and limited range.

» Surrounding terrain: The surrounding environment plays a significant role in determining range. Obstacles such as buildings or forests reduce coverage.

Thanks to the included accessories (wing nut mount, RG58 cable, and PL259 connector), installing the antenna is quick and easy:

» Attach the antenna to a separately purchased fixed mount (e.g., PNI SPA100, PNI SPA110, PNI L1) already installed on the vehicle.

» For optimal results, we recommend calibration by authorized personnel using special equipment. Note: PNI antennas are factory-calibrated at a frequency of 27.225 MHz (channel 22).

» Connect the PL259 connector at the end of the antenna cable to the antenna socket on the back of the station.
