Shelly Pro LoRa expansion module DIN

The Shelly Pro LoRa Add-on is a specialized expansion module that enables long-range wireless communication for Shelly Pro series devices. It extends the reach of automation systems up to 5 km, making it suitable for industrial automation, agricultural management, and large-scale facility control where traditional Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signals are insufficient. This module is not a standalone device and must be connected to a compatible host via the proprietary serial interface for power and data.

The unit features an SMA connector for the included antenna, which can be extended or replaced with high-gain alternatives to improve coverage in obstructed environments or metal enclosures. It supports custom scripts for tailored control and ensures secure data handling through AES-CCM encryption. The module is designed for DIN rail mounting and operates on the EU868 frequency band with low power consumption of less than 150 mW.

Compatible host devices include Shelly Pro 1/2, Pro 1PM/2PM, Pro Dimmer 1PM/2PM, Pro EM-50, Pro 3EM, and Pro RGBWW PM. To establish a communication link, at least two LoRa-capable devices are required to act as transmitter and receiver. The module is galvanically isolated for safe operation in professional electrical environments.
