Shelly 1PM Gen3 is a small form factor smart switch with power measurement, which allows remote control of electric appliances and real-time power consumption monitoring via a smartphone, tablet, PC, or home automation system. The compact design of the device makes it suitable for retrofitting into standard electrical wall boxes, behind power sockets, light switches, or other places with limited space. The switch can function independently in a local Wi-Fi network or through cloud home automation services, ensuring remote access from anywhere with internet connectivity.
The device features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. It functions as a Wi-Fi range extender for IoT devices and as a BLE gateway, bridging Shelly BLU devices by transmitting their signals to the cloud or locally to other non-Bluetooth devices. Upgraded with an improved processor and increased 8 MB memory, the relay includes an embedded web interface for settings management. Integration with Google, Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings platforms is supported for voice control and automation, alongside MQTT and KNXnet/IP protocols and scripting capabilities. Safety is ensured by built-in overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent, and overpower protections.
