This adapter allows you to use a standard USB-C power supply to charge your laptop or other devices that require a specific connector and higher voltage. This adapter intelligently adjusts the voltage according to the USB-C PD (Power Delivery) standard. If you use a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) power supply with 20V support (e.g., laptop charger, power bank), the adapter's output connector will provide the necessary 18.5-20V DC voltage. If the USB-C power supply does not support PD3.0/PD3.1 (or other 20V protocols), the output voltage will automatically be 5V.
