This adapter allows you to use a standard USB-C power adapter to charge your laptop or other devices that require a specific connector and higher voltage. This adapter intelligently adjusts the voltage according to the USB-C PD (Power Delivery) standard. If you use a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) power adapter with 20V (e.g., a laptop charger, power bank), the adapter's output connector will provide the necessary 18.5-20V DC. If the USB-C power adapter does not support PD3.0/PD3.1 (or other 20V protocols), the output voltage will automatically be 5V.
