This adapter allows you to use a standard USB-C power supply to charge your laptop or other devices requiring a specific connection and higher voltage. It intelligently adjusts the voltage according to the USB-C PD (Power Delivery) standard. When using a 20V USB-C Power Delivery (PD) power supply (e.g., a laptop charger, power bank), the adapter's output plug will provide the necessary 18.5-20V DC.
If the USB-C power supply does not support PD3.0/PD3.1 (or other 20V protocols), the output voltage will automatically be 5V.
