The TP-Link Omada EAP603-Outdoor is a Wi-Fi 6 access point for extending an existing network to a garden, terrace or outbuilding. It operates on 2.4GHz and 5GHz and has two external antennas. It is not a SIM-based mobile router: internet access must come from an existing network.
A Gigabit PoE port carries data and power over one Ethernet cable. The access point supports 802.3at PoE+ and the included 48V passive PoE adapter. Its IP65 enclosure can be wall- or pole-mounted. The PoE adapter is for dry indoor use only; outdoor connections must be installed according to the installation guide.
The access point can be configured in standalone mode or managed through Omada. Omada Mesh and seamless roaming require an Omada controller. Manufacturer-stated connection rates are up to 574Mbps on 2.4GHz and 1201Mbps on 5GHz. Actual throughput and coverage depend on installation, obstacles, interference and connected devices.
