Miernik Uni-T UT586+
The Uni-T UT586+ is a professional meter for testing residual current devices (RCDs) and electrical installations in residential buildings, offices, and industrial facilities. It checks the correct operation of protective devices, making it an essential tool for electricians, installers, service technicians, and measurement teams concerned with user safety of installations.
RCD Test
The UT586+ allows for a comprehensive test of residual current devices with a wide range of test currents: from 10 mA to 1000 mA. It enables precise determination of tripping time and detection of irregularities before they become a threat. This function is particularly valued in acceptance and periodic measurements, ensuring compliance with standards and user safety of installations.
Short-circuit loop impedance
Measuring short-circuit loop impedance allows for quick detection of excessive voltage drops and ineffectiveness of overcurrent protection. The tester offers three measurement ranges and a test current of 20 A, providing reliable results in domestic and industrial installations. This allows for checking whether the protective devices will react in a timely manner and break the circuit in case of a short circuit.
Phase sequence test
The UT586+ checks the correctness of the phase sequence, which is crucial when connecting three-phase devices – especially motors, pumps, or industrial machines. An incorrect sequence can lead to damage, so a quick test ensures that the installation is performed correctly. This function speeds up acceptance procedures, reduces the risk of malfunctions, and supports safe equipment operation.
Work without limitations
The UT586+ operates on eight AA batteries (1.5 V), ensuring high mobility during measurements in the field and at sites without access to power outlets. Stable operation across the full range of functions, without the need for power adapters, makes the meter excellent for installation inspections, servicing, and acceptance procedures. A low battery indicator allows for planning battery replacement, avoiding work interruptions.
