The charger has a Type 2 connector, which is now an official European Union standard, and will charge electric cars equipped with a suitable charging socket. The Type 2 connector is 7 contacts, of which 3 contacts or 5 are for charging and 2 for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. The Qoltec brand charger supports four current modes of 8A, 10A, 13A and 16A.
